Description

  • Task: add System Access Control List (SACL) entries to an NTFS security descriptor and apply to files and folders
  • Goal: enable auditing of successful and/or failed access for specific accounts
  • Scope: perform from ONTAP CLI in advanced privilege mode
  • Prerequisite: NAS auditing is configured and enabled on the SVM
  • Impact: applying a security policy can reset existing Access Control Lists (ACLs)
