How can I easily update  the AVCONNECTOR polling service on multiple servers?

Answer

  1. The polling service LIF, polling interval, and credentials needs to be updated on at least one server manually via the Configure ONTAP LIFs GUI desktop application, A.K.A. mregfa.exe.
  2. From the Configure ONTAP LIFs GUI desktop application, click on "Export", then save the registry key to location easily assessable by other Vscan servers

  1. From any Vscan server that needs to be updated, open the Configure ONTAP LIFs GUI desktop application can click on "Import", locate the registry key and click "Open"
