Even when the correct credentials are entered in the prompt access to the CIFS Share is denied

Issue

  • User not able to access the CIFS/SMB share even with the share permission as Everyone - Full control.
  • Whenever user tries to access the share, it prompts for password.
  • After providing the password, "Access Denied" error is displayed.
  • The export policy rules and share-level permissions are configured.
  • From the packet trace, the following was confirmed:
