Issue

  • During domain discovery, preferred DC cannot be reached over port 389 with error "Operation timed out"
[node-02: secd: secd.conn.auth.failure:notice]: Vserver (svm1) could not make a connection over the network to server (ip 10.x.x.x, port 389). Error: Operation timed out (Service: LDAP (Active Directory), Operation: SiteDiscovery).
  • Multiple preferred DC configured, and error reported only for one DC.
