Answer

  • Changing the username or password in Active Directory (AD) will not affect the Shares with AES encryption enabled.
  • This is because the encryption process in AES does not rely on the AD user. 
  • User credentials are solely utilized for authentication during the initial enablement of AES encryption on the Share.
