Different values seen for secd.ldap.query.timed.out and ldap client query timeout

Issue

  • Why is the LDAP query timeout being triggered after 2 seconds when the value is set to 3 seconds
  • secd.ldap.query.timed.out:error in EMS shows a timeout query values of 2 seconds

secd: secd.ldap.query.timed.out:error]: Vserver 'svm_nas': LDAP server 10.10.120.9 did not respond to query within timeout (2 seconds) interval.

  • Output for LDAP client  query timeout is 3 seconds

::> vserver services name-service ldap client show-client-config svm_nas
Query timeout: 3 seconds
