Issue

  • DNS timed out error reported

[secd.dns.server.timed.out:error]: DNS server 172.xx.xx.xx did not respond to vserver = svm1 within timeout interval.

  • DNS check shows DNS server to be down

::> vserver services name-service dns check -vserver svm1
Vserver      Name Server     Status        Status Details
svm1        172.xx.xx.xx     down         Operation timed out
svm1        172.xx.xx.xxx    down         Operation timed out
