Issue

  • Creations or renames of directories to include file extensions are not blocked by Native Fpolicy
  • Example:

 

  • Native Fpolicy enabled.
  • Fpolicy blocks creation of file with (example) .txt extension.
  • Directory created via Windows
  • Rename succeeds
  • Interactions with the directory from this point on are blocked by Native Fpolicy as a result of the directory name containing a blocked extension.
  • Wanted behavior: Block creation of directories with extension naming format for blocked extensions.
