Issue

When local AD Domain Controllers (DCs) in the site are offline (e.g., during Disaster Recovery testing), ONTAP filers experience significant delays in AD authentication. Authentication attempts do not automatically fail over to alternative DCs in other sites, resulting in slow logins and, in some cases, failed access.
