After updating file, the filename is appended with the date and time, then removed

Issue

  • After writing to a file via CIFS and refreshing File Explorer, the file now displays as a text file with the string _<date>_<time>.txt appended to the file name
  • It's not clear if this is a renamed version of the file or if the file was entirely removed and a new file with the appended name was created in its place
  • After about a minute, refreshing the File Explorer window reveals that the file is completely absent from the folder now
