Answer

  • This behavior is intended and applies to fields with alias names when the separator is non-default.
  • When set -showseparator is used, the output is designed for consumption by scripts. For fields with an alias, the output includes both the field's name and its alias name so scripts looking for either name can find the value.
  • In this case, the second column for vserver is called server, and the second column for lif is called vif
