Why is current usage below the threshold, but after the quota threshold has been exceeded, there are no notifications that fall below the threshold?

Answer

No notification occurs if the usage falls below the threshold by increasing the threshold itself, rather than reducing the data.

 

Example:

Example to be notified:

Threshold 80MB

Used size 100MB   ->   70MB

 

Example not to be notified:

 

Threshold 80MB  ->   200MB

Used size 100MB
