Answer

  • Prior to ONTAP 9.10.1, FlexGroup volume can be created with SMB1 enabled. Bug 1389987 fixs this issue as FlexGroup does not support SMB1.
  • From ONTAP 9.10.1, it isn't allowed to create FlexGroup volume with SMB1 enabled.
