  • MDV_aud (Auditing Staging Volume)
  • SVM-DR

Issue

  • We are trying to remove the MDV_aud volume from the aggregate, so that the aggregate can be deleted, but we were unable to disable the vserver auditing. Below is the error:
Cluster1::> vol show -aggregate new_aggr

Vserver   Volume Aggregate    State      Type       Size  Available Used%
--------- ------------ ------------ ---------- ---- ---------- ---------- -----
vserver1 MDV_aud_XXXX new_aggr online RW 2GB 1.90GB  0%

Cluster1::> vserver audit disable -vserver vserver1
Error: This operation is not permitted on a Vserver that is configured as the destination for Vserver DR.

  • This is a destination cluster for SVM DR.
  • Attempts to disable auditing using override command also fails.
