Issue

Volume usage increases gradually despite the following conditions:
  • Thick provisioning is enabled for both the volume and the virtual machines.
  • No persistent VM snapshots are present.
  • SnapCenter creates and deletes temporary snapshots only during backup operations.
  • The volume is dedicated to the VMware datastore, with no other user data stored in the same location.
