Volume create fails due to reason: volume language code invalid

Issue

  • When attempting to create a new volume via ONTAP command line or the System Manager, it fails with the following error:

    Error: command failed: (job 1234) Job failed: Failed to create the volume on node localhost.  Reason: volume language code invalid
