Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • ONTAP revert to ONTAP 9.9.1
  • FabricPool

Issue

  • During an ONTAP revert from ONTAP 9.10.1 to ONTAP 9.9.1, an object format revert may be required:
Cannot continue reverting because one or more FabricPool aggregates in
the cluster that have unified format objects. To view which aggregates
have unified format objects, run:
"storage aggregate object-store revert-object-format show -fields unified-fmt-obj"
To convert the objects to native format, run:
"storage aggregate object-store revert-object-format start"
  • The scan may progress very slowly
