Issue

Cannot create a vserver due to error: Invalid cache policy name

Cluster::*> vserver create -vserver svm1 -subtype default -rootvolume svm1_root -aggregate aggr1 -snapshot-policy none -comment "created 3-1-23 by x" -rootvolume-security-style unix -ipspace svm1
[Job 62011] Job is queued: Create svm1.

Error: command failed: [Job 62011] Job failed:
Invalid cache policy name ""

 

EMS logs show the aggregate is not on it's home node:

Wed Mar 01 08:34:57 -0800 [Cluster-01: vv_config_worker12: wafl.config.req.error:debug]: Config request 'VV_CONFIG_REQ_CREATE' by WAFL for volume svm1_root is not being processed because of the error: '605 - CR_AGGR_IS_NOT_HOME'.
