Unable to create LUN due to system reported busy

Issue

  • While creating the LUN,  the system reported "system might be busy".

node::> lun create -vserver svm -path LUN_1 -size 8192GB -ostype solaris -class regular -igroup-name mountelbert
[Job 10802] Configuring volumes - 0 of 1 complete.
Error: command failed: [Job 10803] Job failed: Error creating volume "LUN_1" on aggregate "aggr1" in Vserver "svm". 
Reason: One or more provisioning actions could not be completed. The system might be busy, retry the operation after some time.

  • Running any other nodeshell commands like "sysconfig -a" shows slowness in the system.
  • From the "BSD-DF-I-K" section is autosupport, stale mounts directories will be seen if cluster is monitored by Cloud Insight (DII-Data Infrastructure Insights)
