Issue

  • SWS ONTAP SVM data collector failed with not authrorized error for domain users assigned with the csrole as per the documentation
  • Error on  SWS GUI:

Failed to determine ONTAP type for [hostname: <cluster_IP>,subDatasourceName <SVM_name>.Reason: Not authorized for that command

  • A local user (csuser) with the same csrole worked fine
  • In the SWS agent datasource log (dsc.log) there are repeated entries as “Ontap type is not decided”
  • ONTAP apache_access.log shows “system-get-version” zapi call is not getting accessed for an AD user with csrole
