SVM deletion fails with Service policy cannot be removed because it is used by one or more LIFs

Issue

  • SVM deletion fails with the below error.
  • No interfaces for this SVM is seen on network interface show 
 
Cluster::> vserver delete -vserver vserver1
[Job 92689] Job is queued: Delete Vserver vserver1.

Error: command failed: [Job 92689] Job failed: Internal error. Failed to delete network configurations for Vserver "vserver1"

Reason: Service policy "custom-data-35684" on Vserver "vserver1" cannot be removed because it is used by one or more LIFs. Use the "network interface show -vserver vserver1 -service-policy custom-data-35684" command to determine which LIFs are using this policy. Wait a few minutes, then try the command again.
Wait a few minutes, and then try the Vserver delete operation again. If the error persists, contact technical support for assistance.
