SVM delete job fails with RPC remote system error

Issue

  • SVM delete job fails with the following events reported:
::> vserver show

[node-03: mgwd: mgmtgwd.jobmgr.jobcomplete.failure:info]: Job "Vserver Delete " [id 147808] (Delete Vserver SVM_1) completed unsuccessfully:  RPC: Remote system error [from vifmgr on node "node-02" (VSID: -1) to mgwd at 127.0.0.1] Try the command after sometime. (1).
 
Error: Success RPC: Couldn't make connection [from mgwd on node "node-02" (VSID: -3) to mgwd at 169.X.X.X] Wait a few minutes, and then try the Vserver delete operation again. If the error persists, contact technical support for assistance.
  • The SVM can be seen reporting temporary issues with MGWD communication:
