Root Aggregate and root volume are not listing for new nodes in cluster

    • This KB is only for situations where cluster/node-join was performed recently and reported nodes are newly added nodes.

Issue

  • On newly added nodes in the cluster: Root aggregate and volume are not listing in clustershell when running aggr show and vol show command.
  • Root aggregate and volume will be present in nodeshell but not populating in clustershell due to discrepancies.
  • To verify on newly added nodes:

::> run -node <newly added node> aggr status

::> run -node <newly added node> vol status

::> run -node <newly added node> df

::> run -node <newly added node> df -a
