  • NFS client with jumbo frames enabled (9000 MTU)
  • Network PORT with jumbo frames enabled (9000 MTU)

Issue

  • One LIF does not respond to NFS requests from a client.
  • The issue is resolved when the LIF is moved to another node.
  • Packet trace:
    • The client and the LIF negotiate jumbo frames during the TCP handshake
    • The client sends jumbo packets to the LIF, but they are retransmitted due to no acknowledgment
    • The LIF does not receive any jumbo packets from the client
