Issue

  1. ONTAP upgrade pre-check fails with:

RDB Replica Health Check — Error: Replicated database is malformed on node "<node_name>" in process "vifmgr".
Action: Contact technical support for assistance.

  • debug rdb sql integrity check show reports non-unique index entries on all nodes in the cluster:

vifmgr
    non-unique entry in index vs_routes_table_index
    non-unique entry in index vifmgr_vs_routes_index

  • Standard recovery command fails:

::*> debug rdb sql reindex -node <node_name> -process vifmgr -table vs_routes_table_index
Error: command failed: Internal error

  • debug smdb table vs_routes_table show and debug smdb table vifmgr_vs_routes show terminate with a loop error:Error: show failed: Loop detected in next() for table vs_routes_table.
    Next on "<vsid> <destination/mask1> <gateway>" returned "<vsid> <destination/mask2> <gateway>".
