Applies to

  • ONTAP
  • Automated nondisruptive upgrade (ANDU)

Issue

  • ANDU is started but pauses on error (for any reason) after first node is upgraded.
  • ANDU is canceled manually through System Manager or cluster image cancel-update command.
  • Attempts to start the upgrade again fail on pre-validation due to storage failover being disabled between the node that was upgraded and its partner.
