  • An ONTAP cluster running a batch ANDU (8+ nodes) may enter a paused-on-error state.
  • The cluster image show-update-progress command indicates the following:
Node name            Status            Status Description
-------------------- ----------------- --------------------------------------
Cluster01-10         failed            Error: Cluster is not in healthy
                                       state.
                                       Action: To check the cluster health
                                       run the command: "cluster show
                                       -health false"..
  • The cluster show command indicates the cluster is healthy:
Cluster01::> cluster show -health false
There are no entries matching your query.
  • The upgrade is able to be resumed without issue or further troubleshooting
