Issue

AutoSupport messages are successfully delivered to NetApp using HTTP as the transport, but fail when using HTTPS with certificate validation enabled.

  • error setting certificate verify locations

The signature can be determined by viewing the errors logged by the AutoSupport subsystem by reviewing the  /mroot/etc/log/mlog/notifyd.log:
