MGWD not running causing problem with node management and AutoSupport delivery

Issue

One or more of the following applies:

  • No management access through SSH
  • No AutoSupport deliver
  • Warning message example:
Warning: Unable to list entries on node node_name. RPC: Remote system error [from mgwd on node "node_name" (VSID: -1) to notifyd at 127.0.0.1]
  • notifyd crashes on restart
  • Attempt to start notifyd manually from systemshell results in application coredump
  • No communication between notifyd and mgwd
  • mgwd not able to restart
  • No events logged in EMS
