Is there a way to keep APR running in learning mode even after upgrading ONTAP to 9.13.1?

  • No. there is no such way to forcely keep ARP running in learning mode without transitioning to active mode.
  • With ARP 9.13.1 and later, adaptive learning has been added to ARP analytics so that the switch from learning mode to active mode is done automatically.
  • There is still a chance can be picked up to disable adaptive learning right after upgrade is completed.
  • But if this fails, disabling and then enabling ARP can also be considered to bring ARP back to learning mode.
