Yes, the following methods can be considered:
  • Most SNMP managers record traps with the source IP address, so the easiest way to check is from the SNMP manager.
  • A packet trace can be used to track the source IP address.
Note: There is no clear record within ONTAP's daily operation logs to identify which LIF is selected to send SNMP traps.
