Answer

  • Yes, conflict is expected if both SnapCenter backup Snapshots and consistency groups/ONTAP native Snapshots are scheduled at the same time.
  • Keeping time difference of 15 mins should be enough to avoid the conflict.

Note: This applies regardless of how the Snapshot is taken
