How to restore node configuration in single or two node cluster
Applies to
ONTAP 9
Description
- This article provides detailed procedures for restoring the configuration of an ONTAP node in both single-node and 2-node cluster environments.
- The restore procedure requires the target node to reboot. In a single-node cluster, service disruption will occur while the node is rebooting.
- In an HA cluster, to minimize or avoid service disruption, ensure that all workloads have been migrated to the healthy node before starting the restore procedure.
- This includes migrating data LIFs and relocating data aggregates from the target node to the partner node.
