Answer

In ONTAP's quota report, the default user quota target is displayed as follows:

  • If the user ID can be mapped to a user name (for example, via /etc/passwd, NIS, LDAP, or Active Directory), it is displayed as the user name.
  • If it cannot be mapped to a user name, it is displayed as the numeric ID.
