Issue

Example file system
  • The SVM contains thefile system /folder_A/folder_B/folder_C
  • share_A maps to folder_A
  • share_C maps to folder_C
Example symptoms
  • In File Explorer, user navigates to \\LIF\share_C and successfully accesses the contents of folder_C
  • In File Explorer, user navigates to \\LIF\share_A\folder_B\folder_C and gets error: Access Denied
    • vserver security trace says Access is denied for file operation, insufficient share permission.
