Issue

  • EMS log indicates that the monitor.volume.nearlyFull alert resolves itself immediately:
Mon Aug 12 23:02:13 +0900 [xxx: wafl_spcd_main: monitor.volume.nearlyFull:error]: Volume xxx@vserver:xxx is nearly full (using or reserving 95% of space and 0% of inodes).
Mon Aug 12 23:02:13 +0900 [xxx: wafl_spcd_main: monitor.volume.ok:debug]: No volumes are full or nearly full.
Mon Aug 12 23:05:52 +0900 [xxx: wafl_spcd_main: monitor.volumes.one.ok:debug]: Volume xxx@vserver:xxx is OK.
  • The df command shows that the total size of the affected volume is 8TB, with current usage at only 80%.
  • Both the volume and the aggregate have 0% usage in snapshots.
  • The affected volume is not used as a backup destination.
