Answer

  • Performance metrics such as IOPS may differ between ONTAP System Manager and NetApp Harvest/NAbox because each tool collects and processes data differently (e.g., polling intervals, data scope,  etc)
  • These discrepancies are expected and do not indicate a problem with the system
  • ONTAP System Manager reports real-time data, while NetApp Harvest aggregates data over time, resulting in variations
