Data LIFs went into a lifBeingRemoved state after rebooting the partner node

Issue

  • After rebooting the partner node, LIFs started to be removed from the up node:
7/21/2023 09:26:33  cluster01-11    NOTICE        vifmgr.lifBeingRemoved: LIF datalif4 (on virtual server 25), IP address 192.168.x.x, is being removed from node cluster01-11, port a0b-304.
7/21/2023 09:26:33  cluster01-11    NOTICE        vifmgr.lifBeingRemoved: LIF datalif3 (on virtual server 25), IP address 192.168.x.x, is being removed from node cluster01-11, port a0b-304.

 
  • Once the partner came back up, the LIFs move back onto the local node again:
Fri Jul 21 09:30:09 +0100 [cluster01-11: vifmgr: vifmgr.lifsuccessfullymoved:notice]: LIF datalif4 (on virtual server 13), IP address 192.168.x.x, is now hosted on node cluster01-11, port a0a-304.
Fri Jul 21 09:30:09 +0100 [cluster01-11: vifmgr: vifmgr.lifsuccessfullymoved:notice]: LIF datalif3 (on virtual server 14), IP address 192.168.x.x, is now hosted on node cluster01-11, port a0a-304.
