Can vserver name instead of UUID when SNMP trap volumeNearlyFull
Applies to
- ONTAP 9
- SNMP
Answer
No. Because SNMP trap:volumeNearlyFull
maps to the event: monitor.volume.nearlyFull
. Vserver UUID is recorded in the EMS log.
Example:
Sat Aug 27 17:03:45 +0800 [NA8300-01: wafl_spcd_main: monitor.volume.nearlyFull:error]: Volume IMG_2014(2)@app:1ac63cb2-da6f-11ec-9f0c-d039ea3cf54e@vserver:635815f8-c6d5-11ec-9f0c-d039ea3cf54e is nearly full (using or reserving 95%% of space and 18%% of inodes).
