CTGKM3323E error observed in IBM SKLM 4.2 after adding new key-manager in ONTAP

Issue

  • Key-manager server added via ONTAP:
    • Cluster01:admin_sg2 :: security key-manager add -address 10.230.90.5 -server-port 5696 :: Success
  • After several hours an error is observed in SKLM:
    • CTGKM3323E Failed to decrypt data using the master key. Rerun the master key management or master key for device group management operation. Failure Reason : Unexpected padding.
  • The key-manager server is present in ONTAP and is available
