Description

Starting with 9.10.1, logging into ONTAP System Manager, you will receive a notification informing you of the Automatic Firmware Update feature and you will be asked to enable it.

  • The Automatic Update feature for firmware allows ONTAP to automatically download and install recommended firmware updates provided by NetApp.
  • The Automatic Update feature requires AutoSupport connectivity over HTTPS. To troubleshoot connectivity problems, see Troubleshoot AutoSupport message delivery over HTTP or HTTPS.
