Audit logs are not getting forwarded to syslog server

Issue

  • Configuring the cluster log-forwarding failed with the below error:

::> cluster log-forwarding create -destination 10.XXX.240.XXX   -protocol tcp-unencrypted
Testing network connectivity to the destination host 10.XXX.240.XXX

Error: command failed: Cannot contact destination host (10.XXX.240.XXX ) from node
Verify connectivity to the desired host or skip the connectivity check with the "-force" parameter

  • Re-added cluster log-forwarding with force with UDP encrypted protocol still issue persists.
