Are new intercluster LIFs needed for a peer relationship if existing LIFs between two nodes can communicate?

Answer

NO. If two nodes already have intercluster LIFs configured and can communicate with each other using these LIFs, there is no need to create new intercluster LIFs for a new peer connection. You can proceed with establishing the peer relationship using the existing intercluster LIFs as long as they are reachable from each other.
