Although new and upgraded clusters run the same version, the upgraded cluster's zoneinfo version is older, so is that an issue?

Answer

Normally, there is no issue.

  • This file defines the offset between UTC and local time.
  • As long as the country's offset from UTC has not changed during the file's update period, differences in the version among clusters will not cause any issues.
  • For regions that have experienced time offset updates, please refer to How to update time zone information in ONTAP 9.
