ASUP failed with peer certificate can not be authenticated with given CA certificates

Issue

  • Autosupport transmission failing with the following error: 
cluster01::> system node autosupport check show-details  
Node: cluster01-01

Category: http-https
          Component: http-put-destination
             Status: failed
             Detail: HTTP/S PUT connectivity check failed for destination:
                     https://support.netapp.com/put/AsupPut/. Error: Peer
                     certificate can not be authenticated with given
                     Certificate Authority certificates.
  Corrective Action: Certificate issue. Please make sure you have the correct
                     Root Certificate installed

  • However, certificate is already installed: 
cluster01::> security certificate show -vserver cluster01 -common-name AAACertificateServices
