Issue

  • ONTAP ANDU pauses with error message:

Wed May 03 06:16:00 -0700 [cluster-01: upgrademgr: upgrademgr.update.pausedErr:error]: The automated update of the cluster has been paused due to the following reason:  Node "cluster-02": Error: {Failed to migrate data LIFs from node "cluster-01".}, Action: {Migrate all of the data LIFs using the "network interface migrate-all -node cluster-01" command.}.

  • LIF configuration error on VIFMGR.GZ: 

Network report: INFORMATIONAL: LIF cluster_mgmt on vserver Vserver-01 is configured with failover policy broadcast-domain-wide but does not have any failover targets on any of the node(s) implied by that policy.

  • Broadcast domains only contain a single port
