Issue

  • On a AFF-A250 storage system, slot 1 SAS port 1c amber "Attention" LED is lit on both nodes of the HA system.
  • There are no observed impacts on the system's performance.
  • Even if all SAS cables are removed from the card, the Attention LED for port 1c remains lit.
  • The green "Link" LED has a different lighting status than expected.
  • Regardless of whether the cable is connected or disconnected, there is no change in the LED status.

Example:

SAS cable connection:
    - Connected to port 1 and port 4
LED:
    - Green LED: Only port 1 and port 3 are lit
    - Amber LED: Only port 3 is lit
