Why there is a difference between volume show command output and df command output for volume whose filesys-size-fixed is true?

Answer

This is expected behavior.

  • df command output doesn't report the real size for the volume whose -filesys-size-fixed option is true. 
  • This option is used to keep the size of DP volume after breaking snapmirror relationship.
