Why is disk usable size different between two root aggregates

Answer

  • Depending on the number of drives used in the initial setup, the partition size may differ
  • Ensure the disktype, diskcount, and wafl-reserve percent are same.

    ::> set adv; ::*> aggr show -fields wafl-reserve-percent,size,diskcount -root true -aggregate <aggregate names>

  • Validate in NetApp Hardware Universe > ADP Root Partition Configuration.
