  • ONTAP storage does not support the function about recording which user ids access cifs share during a period of time by default.
  • But there are two ways to find which user id access cifs share:
  1. Capture the packets in storage, and the user's access session can be checked in packets.
  2. Set up CIFS auditing with clustered Data ONTAP.
